Things To Do For Adults

1. Create Some Quarantine Art (or music)
Channeling your productive energy into an instrument, or clay, or paint, or any canvas, can be highly rewarding. Not to mention, you’ll be coming out with a new skill to brag about!
2. Try Yoga
Yoga can be an enjoyable & very relaxing practice. It’s an excellent way to keep yourself preoccupied, and you’ll find yourself healthier and feeling better once you get into a routine with it!
3. Journal
Journaling is a great way to express yourself and relieve tension. We all feel the need to do that right now during these stressful times. It can be surprising how much peace can come from simply writing your thoughts and feelings down.

Things To Do With The Kids

1. Make a cardboard fort
Put those empty Amazon boxes out in the garage to good use! Kids can get lost a good fort for hours or even days, that’s why we’re putting this one up first.
2. Set up a treasure hunt
Treasure hunts are pretty easy, and depending on how many items there are, and it could last a while. Hide anywhere from 10 to 20 things around the house or outside to keep kids occupied for a few hours.
3. Check out Mars
Explore the surface of Mars with this digital 360° camera. Great for the more scientific of the kiddos!
4. Take a virtual field trip of the Boston Children’s Museum
Visit the Boston Children’s Museum without even leaving your living room.
5. Have an indoor picnic
Grab a sheet, whatever food you have, and enjoy a living room picnic. If you’re looking to elevate the experience with a little learning, you can play a memory game at the same time: “I’m going to a picnic, and I’m bringing…” Each person takes turns remembering (in order) what everyone is bringing and then adds one thing each turn.
6. Bake together
Cookies, cakes, brownies. Anything! Baking is an excellent lesson in measuring ingredients, and, of course, making delicious goodies. Just try not to overdo this one for the sake of your waistline!
